I'm an IT Consultant - Experienced in full cycle waterfall mainframe development.
But I have a confession, for many years I have adopted Agile/Scrum methods even thogh I did not know about them. It just seemed common sense to deliver projects in small pieces with the clients involvement, having daily team meetings, monitoring backlogs and charting progress.
As a Digital Champion I am prepared to support you at a number of locations in South Manchester, You may simply require some support learning Microsoft Office applications or you might be working toward your ECDL. I work for Manchester Adult Education Services and can sign post you to one of our courses. Or you may request one to one support at the Library or Community Centre - I am here to service your need.
A little more
You may have decided that you require a web page but you would like to develop it yourself.
I can help you there with basic HTML or with one of the many Web Builders that are available.
I can also help where bespoke development is required - you may have a need for a database application.
Consultancy
You may have a bigger idea andrequire a package solution.
I can help you with Content Management Solutions and Blogging. But you may have visions of say an On-Line shop.
There are starter packs available and software houses wich will provide yoiu with a servise but you may need help getting to grip with the builds - again I can help.
But what I am really interseted in is getting to know your business and helping you with your next bespoke development. There is a significant amount of work that can be done by you as the Producty Owner before incurring IT cost.
I can explain the development process to you and why Agile might help you construct your development. With test driven development as a tool I can explain how being proactive will save you time and reduce risk.
